Donate Lai See, Share Blessings

‘What I hope to see is my child growing up with confidence’ — A parent of a child with special educational needs (SEN)
A small Lai See can help children with SEN take their first step forward.
In Hong Kong, many families with SEN children face multiple challenges. Communication difficulties often lead to strained parent-child relationships, while differences in parenting styles can also increase parental stress. Additionally, the support lacks personalisation and fails to address the needs of parents.
Oxfam Hong Kong partners with local organisations to support these children through innovative and tailored approaches such as social robots and behaviour training. At the same time, we empower parents with parenting skills, turning tense moments into understanding and smiles.
Donate a Lai See to share your blessings and help build a brighter future for children with SEN.

‘Going to school has become the thing I look forward to most every day’ — Rural left-behind child in Chinese Mainland, Xiao Chen
A small Lai See can support rural left-behind children in Chinese Mainland, helping them stay on their learning journey.
Xiao Chen, 13, grew up in a remote rural area of Gansu in Chinese Mainland, and had never been far away from his family. When he first transferred to a boarding school for secondary, he missed his family so deeply that he had experienced emotional breakdowns and even considered dropping out.
Through mental health education programmes, social workers offered counselling and companionship to help him adapt, express his feelings, and reconnect with school life — finding friendship and a sense of belonging again.
Donate a Lai See to share your blessings and bring warmth and care to children like Xiao Chen.

‘Renovating our home has not only made it warmer, but has also opened up a whole new world of reading for my child’ — A parent of a migrant child
A small Lai See can become the power of home transformation, turning it into a safer and better learning environment for migrant children in Chinese Mainland.
In cities across Guizhou, many migrant families have long lived in cramped flat with poor lighting, messy wiring and piles of clutter, leaving children with nowhere to study, while hidden safety hazards lurk in every corner.
We work with local partners to repair wall cracks, improve drainage and lighting, and free up space through better organisation and storage. We also help create reading corners, giving children a safe and welcoming place to learn at home.
Donate a Lai See to share your blessings and help migrant children grow up in a safer environment.
