fundraising MANAGER/ASSISTANT MANAGER-ACQUISITION & RETENTION (2-year contract, renewable)
Responsibilities:
- Telemarketing program
- Develop and execute a compelling engagement journey for donors to drive the productivity and outcomes of the telemarketing efforts.
- Lead daily operations of the telemarketing team.
- Plan and manage all telemarketing initiatives, including but not limited to upgrade and reactivation of lapsed monthly donors and the recapture of non-paying monthly donors.
- Convert prospects and one-off donors into monthly donors while driving them to make repeated one-off donations.
- Monitor team’s performance to ensure it aligns with the established KPIs.
- Recruit, train, and mentor telemarketing staff to build a high-performing, motivated team.
- Analyze performance data and generate actionable reports to refine strategies and maximize results.
- Address donor complaints or enquiries arising from telemarketing activities.
- Face-to-face monthly donor recruitment (Roadshow)
- Oversee and monitor the Roadshow activities; ensuring fundraising goals are met.
- Secure free venues through strategic partnerships.
- Oversee the design of exhibition panels and coordinate logistics for their setup.
- Prepare essential materials for Roadshow activities including training materials, pitch cards, donation forms, uniforms and sign-up gifts, etc.
- Prepare reports and analysis to monitor performance and fulfillment rate.
- Manage permit applications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Explore new income streams and innovative approaches to expand donor base.
- Direct mailing
- Design and implement strategic direct mail campaigns to achieve predefined targets.
- Coordinate production, lettershop and logistics management to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
- Take on additional assignments as requested by the team or Agency.
Requirements:
- Degree holder in marketing or business administration.
- 8 years of experience in fundraising or customer service, preferably with NGO exposure. Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Fundraising Manager.
- Good telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
- Work independently and analytical mindset.
- Well-organized and target-oriented and multi-tasking.
- Excellent in MS Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese, and fluent in Putonghua.
- Identification with Oxfam’s mission and values is a must.
